Graffiti Show

The best show i have seen, i havent seen that many, but the gallery looks amazing. Graffiti artists have so much talent it is ridiculous. They are pretty funny, those writers. It seems that if it is not Graffiti art they are over it. Not all are like this, but some are. I think they dont realize they have the same closed mindedness that other artists have towards graffiti and its artness.

Whatever. Go to the show in Haleiwa tonight and check it out. you wont be dissapointed. Im not, and Im the Gallerys biggest critic.

LLama Time

With only five weeks left till the Ugly Beautiful art show in Haleiwa, I can't help but spend all my time making stuff. As projects get more complicated as you get older, they also seem to take more time. Luckly the first day of llama construction went pretty smoothly, as I had never built a giant two headed llama.

After about five min. I realised it was going to be a painful day, molding Chicken Coup wire is not easy on gloveless hands. It looks like I am a heroin junkie with veins only left in my hands. The llama was built in a long day, but that is only the first step. She will be coverd in scrap fiberglass and resin from the surf factory I work in. Hence the feeling like five weeks wont be enough time to get the 12 foot tall beast covered from head to camle toe.

Creating is fun, and there is nothing like jumping into a large project. If you have never made something bigger than you, I strongly reccomend it. There is something about making a piece of art where you have to walk around it or climb a ladder or stand back 25' just to see the whole thing.

Check out CIRCUS' Ugly Beautiful Art Show the last Saturday in March for a cluster fu&k of creativity and music.  You know it will go off when Circus Clothing is involved.

Jaust had a busy week making shirts and importing them. Here is me and "sooper" dave osborne making some shirts after a large day of big lefts in the muddy Hawaii storm Surf. I think I won the double crown, The Jacko's Open and the Chuns Classic. Sorry Dave.... or Sorry Tyler for letting Dave use your board and him breaking it.
